President-elect Bola Tinubu has condoled with the family and friends of the Late Adenike Adewunmi-Adebisi.
Mrs Adewunmi-Adebisi, founder of Nikkisworldblog and fervent campaigner for Tinubu during the election campaigns, died pregnant last Thursday.
She was hoping to mark her 50th birthday with the birth of her child.
Tinubu noted with sadness the untimely death of the deceased, and while praying that God grant her eternal rest, he also beseeched God to comfort her husband, her aged parents and friends over the loss.
He urged those she left behind to be consoled by the memories of her eventful life and the good times they shared together.
In a condolence statement on Sunday by his office, the President-elect said: “The death of Mrs. Adenike Adewunmi-Adebisi is a very sad one. I learnt she was one of my fervent supporters and campaigners.
“While her untimely death is painful, I pray to Almighty God to comfort her loved ones especially the husband and immediate family members.
“Mrs. Adewunmi-Adebisi’s memories and good deeds should be cherished and treasured by all those who knew her. May God grant her eternal rest.”
