Veteran Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami has reached a significant milestone in his career, receiving an honorary doctorate degree in Theatre and Media Arts from a prestigious UK university.
The achievement was announced by fellow industry icon Muyiwa Ademola, popularly known as “Authenticity,” who shared the news on Instagram along with a heartwarming video from the ceremony.
The video captures Adebayo Salami’s joyful moment as he accepts the honorary doctorate, joined by Nollywood legend Jide Kosoko, who offered his heartfelt congratulations.
In the post, Muyiwa Ademola wrote: “Congratulations, Dr. Adebayo Salami! Otunba Adebayo Aremu Salami (PhD) was honored by Achievers Network Academy, UK, with the honorary doctorate, proudly decorated by Mrs. Obasanjo.”
