But the Nollywood actor, Gabriel Afolayan has finally spoken concerning his alleged marriage crash with his wife, Adebanke.
The couple unfollowed each other in 2020 on Instagram.
Everyone thought it was due to the cheating and wife-beating allegations.
But the actor in an interview with City People disclosed that his marriage is still very much intact and he has decided not to present his personal life to the public anymore.
He said, “That’s actually personal to me. I really don’t want my personal life out there; I always keep that out of the media not because of anything but it is just a personal principle for me. Nevertheless, my marriage is very much intact.
Yes, I heard about the rumours too, but you know, there is no marriage that doesn’t have it’s own challenges, but we have settled it. My wife just travelled out of the country, and we are very much okay. Just because I didn’t say anything or make it go viral for those looking for sensational stories, they think otherwise. But my marriage is intact.”
A blogger, Gistlovers, had reported that Gabriel Afolayan was an alleged wife beater and allegedly into drugs. The blogger posted then that a popular musician, Banky W was the cause of the brouhaha.
Gistlover, in a series of screenshots exposed how Banky W cheated on his wife with Gabriel Afolayans’ wife. In another post she exposed how Gabriel allegedly involved himself in drugs and became a wife beater.
But all seems well now as the actor has denied all the allegations.
