The Yoruba movie industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of actress Temitope Osoba.
Actor Alesh Sanni confirmed the sad news on Wednesday in a touching post shared via his Instagram page, where he paid tribute to the late actress and reflected on the bond they shared.
Expressing his grief, Sanni revealed that he had been unable to sleep after hearing of Osoba’s passing, describing her as a cherished sister whose memories would remain with him.
He wrote, “Couldn’t sleep since last night, it’s well. Rest in peace my dearest sister, Temitope Osoba. We had amazing time and good memories together, till we meet again. I really dunno what to say mehn, gosh.”
The circumstances surrounding Osoba’s death have not yet been made public, as no official cause has been announced.

Known for her performances in numerous Yoruba-language Nollywood productions, Osoba earned admiration from colleagues and fans for her talent and contributions to the industry.
