Its heartwarming to know that the two children of late actress, Aisha Abimbola, who died in May 2018 are in good hands.
This was revealed by actress, Biola Bayo aka Eyin Oka, who was in Canada recently and saw the robust kids of the late actress.
According to Biola, Lola Alao, also an actress and a good friend of Aisha, treats the kids (a boy and a girl) like hers and has been taking care of them since their mum’s demise.
Biola took to Instagram to share photos and wrote:
“With late Aishat Abimbola’s children. All thanks to@Aunty Lola Alao, that one is a blessing, she’s indeed an angel. Thank you for taking care of the kids like yours. The children are so so happy. God bless you @lola_alao
All thanks to @starboytemidayo for taking me there, I’m grateful Bro.”
This kind gesture is no commonplace in Nollywood where surviving actors hardly help dependants of deceased artistes.
It was quite disappointing in March this year when late Moji Olaiya’s daughter had her first birthday and none of her friends in the industry turned up.
Kudos to Lola Alao, who was close to the late Aisha and present when she was buried in Canada, where she passed away.
The late Aishha died in May after battling with breast cancer. She was laid to rest at the Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centre, Brampton, Canada amid tears.
