Nollywood actor Tom Njeamanze is currently battling prostate cancer. Not only that, he is urgently in need of financial assistance to undergo surgery.
This was made public by fellow actor Stanley Ajemba, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, who shared a heartbreaking video of the ailing actor on Instagram.
The clip showed Njeamanze lying on a hospital bed, connected to a drip with an oxygen cylinder beside him.
Stanley’s emotional appeal has triggered an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues alike.
“Hello guys, one of our Nollywood legends is sick and needs urgent surgery,” he said in the video.


“Sir Tom Njamanze has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he needs your support to undergo surgery. Nothing is too small, fams. Help our legend live again. Send to this account,” he added, sharing the actor’s account details.
The filmmaker also posted a throwback video of Njeamanze in his prime, acting alongside Nollywood greats Nkem Owoh and the late Sam Loco Efe.
Actress Evans Okoro also took to Instagram to share the actor’s health status and appeal for financial support from the public.
Tom Njeamanze rose to prominence in the early 2000s and became a household name for his roles in films such as Brain Box, Pounds and Dollars, Twin Brothers, Magic Cap and Caesar to Caesar. Online movie streaming services
