Veteran Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa, widely recognised for his police roles and the catchphrase “Ta lo pa chief?”, has dismissed reports claiming he is dead.
The rumour spread across social media after an obituary poster bearing the actor’s name circulated online, prompting concern among fans and colleagues.
Responding in a video shared on his Instagram page, Ajasa assured the public that he is alive and in good health.
“I’m still much alive in good health,” he said.
The actor also criticised blogs and social media platforms responsible for circulating the false report, describing the claims as baseless.
