Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire has taken on the role of officiant at the wedding of his former wife, Jennifer Meyer, who married Geoff Ogunlesi, the son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Adebayo Ogunlesi, in Hawaii.
The ceremony took place on Saturday at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, with Maguire standing at the front as Meyer exchanged vows with the celebrity jeweller.
Photographs from the occasion captured the Spider-Man actor officiating the ceremony as Meyer said “I do” to her new husband. Their children, Otis and Ruby, were also present to witness the event.
The wedding attracted several prominent figures from Hollywood and the business world. Among those in attendance were actor Courteney Cox, fashion stylist Rachel Zoe, Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, were also present at the star-studded celebration.
Maguire’s involvement in the ceremony came only weeks after he and Meyer officially finalised their divorce, drawing attention to the former couple’s relationship following the end of their marriage.
The pair first met in 2003 and married four years later, in 2007. After nine years of marriage, they announced their separation in 2016.
Meyer filed for divorce in 2020, although the legal process was not completed until recently. Despite their separation, the former couple share two children and were reunited at the wedding, with Maguire taking an active role in the proceedings.
Meyer and Ogunlesi announced their engagement in September 2024. Reports also indicate that they have welcomed a baby girl, who was present at the wedding ceremony.
Ogunlesi is the founder and chief executive officer of The Ogunlesi Group, a Los Angeles-based company focused on entertainment and music management.

The company works with several established names in the industry, including rapper Young Thug, Charlieonna Friday and actor Myles Frost.
His father, Adebayo Ogunlesi, is a Nigerian billionaire businessman whose career has earned him international recognition in the investment and finance sectors.
The wedding brought together celebrity guests and members of the couple’s families for the Hawaii celebration, with Maguire’s role as officiant emerging as one of the notable details of the occasion.
