Fuji musician Wasiu Alabi, popularly known as Pasuma, is expected to be one of the major attractions at the 2026 J Cornerstone Woolwich Carnival in London.
The cultural event, convened by Abiodun Jacob, also known as Abbey Oko Oyinbo, will take place on Monday, August 31, at Parry Place and Spray Street in Woolwich.
Now in its third year, the carnival will be held as an “All White Party”, with guests encouraged to wear white to reflect the event’s message of peace, unity and community spirit.
Pasuma is billed to headline the entertainment programme, with MC Muffin serving as host alongside other invited musicians and media personalities.
Speaking on the significance of the carnival, Jacob said the event had continued to provide a platform for Africans in the diaspora and other members of the community to celebrate their cultural roots.
He said, “The Woolwich Carnival has grown over the past three years into a critical space for celebrating our shared heritage and unity.

Jacob also confirmed that the event would be open to the public and encouraged prospective attendees to follow the all-white dress code.
The 2026 edition is expected to combine live music, cultural activities and entertainment as the Woolwich community comes together to celebrate African heritage and foster unity.
