Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has stirred fresh speculation about trouble in his marriage to actress Rosy Meurer.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Meurer may have recently initiated divorce proceedings, though neither party has provided clear details regarding the situation. While the actress has remained silent, Churchill appeared to subtly respond through a message shared on his Instagram story.
In the post, he emphasized his commitment to his children above all else, writing, “As a father, if I am ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else, I’m picking my kids. Period.”
The statement quickly drew attention online, with many social media users questioning its timing and possible connection to the ongoing rumours.
Further fueling the speculation, a review of Churchill’s Instagram activity shows he has unfollowed Meurer’s primary account, although he still follows her backup page. Meurer, however, continues to follow him.
The development comes months after Meurer dismissed earlier claims of a crisis in their relationship, even stating at the time that she could take a bullet for her husband.

Their union has frequently attracted public interest, partly due to Churchill’s past marriage to Tonto Dikeh, which ended controversially in 2017. He later introduced Meurer—formerly his personal assistant—as his wife in 2021.
The couple welcomed their first child in March 2021 and their second in October 2022. In 2023, Churchill also denied rumours of marital issues.
Meanwhile, Dikeh recently revealed that she and Churchill have finally “buried the hatchet,” bringing an end to their long-running public dispute.
