Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reacted to backlash following a viral video showing her kneeling to greet business mogul Razaq Okoya and his wife, Shade Okoya.

The incident occurred at the 70th birthday celebration of Debola Lagos’ father, where the actress was seen respectfully kneeling while greeting the couple — a gesture that sparked mixed reactions online.

Responding to the criticism, Toyin Abraham defended her action, stating that it reflects her upbringing and respect for Yoruba culture.

“As a true Omoluabi, I will always uphold our values and culture,” she said.
