The Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has revealed the circumstances surrounding the passing of Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola, who died on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Tunde Ola-Yusuf, Chairman of the TAMPAN Guild of Directors (TGD), confirmed that the actress succumbed following a brief illness.
Ademola reportedly experienced severe breathing difficulties, which led to her urgent admission at Ancilla Catholic Hospital in Agege, where she was placed on oxygen support before being pronounced dead.
“She is reported to have complained of inability to breath properly which led to her immediate admission to the hospital where she was placed on Oxygen,” the association stated.
TAMPAN described the late actress as a committed and active member, both within the Guild of Directors and the wider association, acknowledging her valuable contributions to the Nigerian film industry.

“Until her death, Madam Allwell Ademola is a distinguished and active member of TAMPAN GUILD OF DIRECTORS (TGD) and TAMPAN at large, she contributed immensely to the film industry, TGD and the Association at Large,” the statement added.
The association extended heartfelt condolences to her family, colleagues, and friends, assuring that burial details will be communicated once finalized.
“Details of her burial will be released as soon as possible. May God comfort her aged mother, her family, professional colleagues and all well wishers. Good Night Madam Allwell Ademola,” TAMPAN added.
