Actress Biodun Okeowo has issued a stern warning to a man who branded her a thief after she posted a real estate advert on Instagram.
The drama started after the actress shared a promotional clip of a house, with a caption stating it cost ₦50 million.
Her followers quickly pointed out that her colleague, Biola Bayo, had earlier promoted the same property for ₦40 million — sparking confusion over the actual price.
Among those who reacted was a man alleged to be connected to the movie industry, who dropped a comment referring to the actress as “a thief agent.”

The accusation infuriated Okeowo, who went on her Instagram page to address the issue directly. She demanded that the man prove his allegation, vowing not to let the insult go unanswered.
“That guy sitting beside aunty Jaiye Kuti just called me a thief. On top a property he doesn’t even know the real owner. I’m going to use you as a scapegoat. You must prove that I’m a thief else,” she warned.
The screen diva, better known as Omoborty, described the comment as slanderous and disrespectful, stressing that she would take decisive action to protect her name and reputation.
