Just a few weeks to the coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi, who is a widow of late Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has paid a visit to the Olubadan-designate, Senator Rashidi Ladoja.

The former Oyo State First Lady Florence Ajimobi visited Rashidi Ladoja, at his residence in Ibadan.
Sharing photos of the visit on her Facebook page on Tuesday, Mrs Ajimobi described it as “a great honour” to meet the former governor who was recently nominated as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
According to her, the throne of Olubadan symbolises the continuity of Ibadan’s culture and tradition.
“Our rich culture and tradition continue to stand tall through the throne of Olubadan,” she wrote.
She also prayed that Ladoja’s reign would bring wisdom, peace and prosperity to the people of Ibadanland and beyond.
“I pray that His Imperial Majesty’s reign will be blessed with wisdom, peace, and lasting prosperity for the people of Ibadanland and beyond,” Ajimobi concluded.
Rashidi Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, was nominated in August as the next Olubadan.
His coronation programme is scheduled to hold from September 22 to October 3.
