Controversial businesswoman Mary Gold has publicly apologised to embattled content creator Ijoba Lande following the breakdown of his marriage with his wife, Dara.
Her apology comes after a viral video where she confessed to taking Dara to the house of veteran actor Baba Tee’s wife, where she allegedly had an affair. She also admitted to allowing Dara and her boyfriend to receive treatment for an infection at her residence.
Mary Gold’s Public Apology
In a video shared on social media, Mary Gold, who is also Lande’s manager, pleaded for forgiveness:
“I am pleading with Lande to forgive me for taking his wife to Baba Tee’s house and also for allowing her and her boyfriend to treat infection in my house. I want Nigerians to beg him for me.”
She also apologised to Baba Tee but expressed disappointment over his alleged dishonesty:
“I also want to apologise to Baba Tee for taking Lande’s wife to his house without informing him. But at the same time, my spirit is not happy with him because he lied against me. However, I understand he was trying to cover himself.”
