Omowunmi Aloba, the embattled wife of late singer Mohbad, has publicly criticized controversial actor Yomi Fabiyi, accusing him of inciting public hatred against her.

During an interview on Arise News TV, Wunmi expressed frustration over Fabiyi’s actions since joining the Justice for Mohbad movement, alleging that he has used an old video of a disagreement between her and the late singer to fuel negative narratives against her.
According to Wunmi, Fabiyi not only labeled her a murderer but also cast doubts on the paternity of her son.
“There’s this guy online, a TikTok activist, Yomi Fabiyi, who is such a misogynist—he hates women. He even blocked me before he joined the Justice for Mohbad movement. In his first video, he called for my arrest, called me a murderer, and even referred to my son as a bastard,” she lamented.
She further claimed that Fabiyi has been exploiting her situation for financial gain.
“He has been inciting the public against me, all because of a three-second clip of a past disagreement with my husband. He has received over ₦10 million through this campaign. I pity the women in his life; he hates me for no reason.”
Wunmi also called for better protection for widows, stating that she is too young to endure such intense public scrutiny and attacks.
