Grammys 2025: Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has made history once again at the 2025 Grammy Awards. With 11 nominations, she took home two prestigious awards, bringing her total Grammy count to an incredible 34, making her the most-awarded artist in Grammy history.

One of the standout moments of the night was her groundbreaking win for Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter, making her the first Black woman to ever win this award.

Grammys 2025: The honor was presented by Taylor Swift, marking a significant milestone for both Beyoncé and the country music genre.

Already holding the title of the most-awarded Grammy artist, a distinction she earned in 2023 with Renaissance, Beyoncé’s achievements at the 2025 ceremony further solidified her place in music history.

In an emotional acceptance speech at the Grammys 2025, Beyoncé expressed her gratitude, saying, “Wow, I really was not expecting this. Wow, I wanna thank God — Oh my God! — that I’m able to still do what I love after so many years, Oh my God!” She continued, “I’d like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this album. We worked so hard on it. I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about, and to stay persistent.”

She went on to thank her family, the artists who collaborated with her, and, of course, her fans. “Thank you so much for this honour,” she said.

Released in March 2024, Cowboy Carter is a landmark project that highlighted Black artists in the country music scene.

Beyoncé has previously shared how she didn’t always feel welcomed when exploring this genre, making her Grammy win even more meaningful.

At the Grammys 2025, Beyoncé’s nominations included Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter.

Her song Texas Hold ‘Em earned nods for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Country Song, while 16 Carriages and Ya Ya received nominations for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Americana Performance, respectively.
