Renowned Nollywood actress, Kemi Akindoju, has announced the passing of her beloved father, Chief Williams Akindoju, who died at the age of 71.
In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Kemi Akindoju reflected on the bittersweet reality of 2024, noting that she began the year with her father by her side and is ending it without him.
“Sometimes, you think you’re ready, but NOTHING prepares you for the loss of a PRESENT & LOVING parent like my daddy. Started the year with my daddy, ending it without my daddy,” Kemi Akindoju wrote.
Her heartfelt message was accompanied by a memorial graphic honoring her father, who passed away on December 20, 2024. While the exact cause of his death remains undisclosed, Chief Akindoju is survived by family and loved ones who cherish his memory.
