Queen Sekinat Elegushi: Ooni Of Ife Declares, “I Don’t Know Abike Jagaban”… Why Monarch Barred Her From Palace In Ile Ife

Obviously, notorious London blogger, Basirat Tolulope Adeoye Olowogaba aka Abike Jagaban, has bitten more than she can chew.

Since last Thursday night when she made a ‘show’ on Facebook and announced the death of Queen Sekinat Aramide Elegushi, there has been much unsettling in many quarters.

First, Nigerians—home and abroad—have rained curses on her when they discovered that Oba Saheed Elegushi’s wife, Sekinat, is alive and well.

Then, there was the panic caused the families of both the king and queen who spent the whole weekend answering calls and explaining the fact that there was nothing like death of their matriarch.

“This prompted a highly revered Lagos chief (name withheld) to call the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye, on telephone and explain the gravity of the evil wrought by Abike Jagaban’s unverified claims on Facebook.

As a matter of fact, all the Obas and Chiefs in Lagos have reached an unanimous decision on the reportage and set to take steps. But because some of them are close to the Ooni and have heard how Abike brags about being close to him, they decided putting a call through to him.

On receiving their call, the Ooni of Ife came clean and made them realize that he was never close to the Facebook celebrity. He said all the kingdoms in Lagos  should take their decisions on Abike Jagaban for what she did to Queen Sekinat.

The Ooni washed his hands off Abike and made the kings and chiefs realize that he has barred her from the palace and all his wives have given instructions to palace aides and security personnel that Abike is no longer wanted at the palace,” reliable sources told Kemi Ashefon.

Meanwhile, Abike, the Facebook blogger has gone to the platform to post a video of Queen Sekinat where family members and friends have started trooping the palace to check on her welfare since the evil report filtered to town.

Back to beautiful Oloori Sekinat.

“I’m hale and hearty. I am alive. I am not dead. Abike Jagaban should tell Nigerians which queen is dead,” Oloori Sekinat Elegushi said when Kemi Ashefon contacted her on telephone on Thursday night.
