A lady identified as African Doll, who had an affair with the gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, disclosed that he wanted her to go for an abortion but she refused.
Following Sammie Okposo’s public apology for having an affair with a lady in the USA last year, African Doll in an interview with Obodo Oyibo TV disclosed that they had an affair for some months and had unprotected S*x several times.
Narrating how they met, she said, “We met at a concert at one of the churches not far from my home, and we started following each other on Instagram along with other artists he performed with. He asked for my cellphone number, I gave him my cellphone number and he gave me his Nigerian number and American number, we conversed on a phone, through Whatapp, regular calls and Instagram chat, that was how it started.”
At the cause of the interview, the screenshot of their chat with the singer was displayed as evidence. According to her, everything was cool with them as they went shopping, attended concerts together and lodged in hotels until she informed him about her pregnancy.
The lady had on Monday called out the singer, saying Okposo turned his back on her.
”We both know that we didn’t use protection. We both know that we were wrong. There is still a way to handle things. He didn’t handle it right. I am not saying he has to bow to me but there is a way you do things. Turning your back on me is wrong. Any woman on earth won’t feel okay about it. It doesn’t feel good to be abandoned or to be thrown to the side. I cannot be walking around thinking about it, life goes on.
The lady identified as African Doll added “I will keep the baby, I don’t really believe in abortion. Fornication is a sin. The bible says he who is without sin should cast the first stone. It is not my intention to hurt anybody but to bring life to the situation.”
On how the relationship started, she said: “He (Sammie Okposo) invited me to his show in Houston, Texas in November 2021, which I attended with a friend and I didn’t see him. So, he messaged me and wondered why I didn’t get to see him despite inviting me over. He invited me to his hotel and we hung out. I spent the night with him until the next morning.
We kept speaking even when he invited me to Nigeria, we messed around on several occasions. I am accountable for my part. In December, he invited me to his show and we messed around.
“I know it’s wrong what I did sleeping with a married man and tried to communicate with him so we can find a way out but he kept telling me I’m trying to disgrace him.
“After I left the hospital and called him, he told me to do the needful and get rid of the child after I told him I was pregnant. He said I was trying to disgrace him but I told him that we were both wrong and this is not to blackmail him as I have never asked for anything but respect because he became verbally aggressive towards me calling me a fool and an idiot.”
She said Sammie Okposo told her “She knows what to do,” Which obviously means going for an abortion.
When she told him that she can’t take such a decision at that time, he disrespected her accused her of trying to tarnish his reputation.
African Doll who took responsibility for what has happened also alleged that he tried to intimidate her, telling her no one will believe her and that he has a lawyer in Nigeria and in the USA if she chose to go to war with him.
She also added that she is keeping the baby because she doesn’t believe in abortion. “I will keep the baby, I don’t really believe in abortions.
