Singer, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has asked the state governors who have lifted the coronavirus lockdown for the Easter celebrations, to explain whether the coronavirus ever goes on Easter break.
The 39-year-old demanded answers in a post he shared across social media on Friday.
He wrote, “So for the state governors that have suspended isolation and social distancing for Easter… Do they have an agreement with the coronavirus that it will also go on Easter break as well ?…”
Some of the governors who have announced the suspension of the lockdown over the Easter period include Governors Nyesom Wike, Udom Emmanuel, Aminu Masari, Douye Diri, Yahaya Bello and Rotimi Akeredolu of Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Katsina, Bayelsa, Kogi and Ondo states respectively.
