Popular On-Air Personality, Toke Makinwa seems to be right when she said she had to bleach her skin because her former husband, Maje Ayida, who is a fitness expert, loves fair-skinned ladies.
Well, Maje is having a new date and she is not only fair complexioned, she has a petite figure like Toke.
The lady who Maje is now dating is known as Yinka Mathews.
A burn survivor, Yinka is an interior designer and was said to have dated Maje some years ago but the affair was on and off before they called it off and started dating again in 2018.
If rumours filtering to town are true, the couple who had been seen in some public places in Lagos, may walk down the aisle soon.
Recall Toke Makinwa had filed a divorce suit against her estranged husband in a Lagos court in 2016 and she had instituted Maje and his Babymama, Anita Solomon, as respondents.
From the petitions filed, Toke said it all—Maje was unfaithful, the marriage ceased to exist on November 8, 2015 when she could not stand the repeated adulterous acts of the man, who also had a baby outside their marriage.
In her book, ‘On Becoming’ Toke revealed that she bleached because of her estranged husband, Maje Ayida.

The Sex Tape and Bleaching
“At some point while we were dating, Maje had asked if he could tape us having sex. This was a new one for me but I would do anything to keep my man, or so I thought, and so I obliged. But I was nervous afterwards because I didn’t want the tape to get into the wrong hands…. I dragged the file back to his desktop, and I could tell from the stilled image in the video that the person in it was not me…. I clicked play and watched horrified as Maje had sex with Anita.
Watching that video, all of the inadequacies I thought I had dealt with over the years came rushing back. I had been with Maje from when I was an immature teenager, through my twenties, and for most of those years, Anita had been the standard I had to live up to. I had lightened my skin at some point – Anita was half Lebanese and half Ibibio, and Maje made me feel like he preferred her lighter skin.”
