Actress Ify Okeke is angry. A good friend and supporter of Tonto Dikeh, she is angry that Nollywood producer and filmmaker, Adaslim has decided to mention her name in the ‘letter to a soul sister’ which was written to Tonto Dikeh.
Recall that Adaslim, who claimed to be Tonto Dikeh’s benefactor and who brought her to the movie industry had alleged betrayal and abandonment from Tonto.
It was an obviously angry Ify Okeke that penned down this:
“@adaslimshow Truly I would have kept quite but am done being DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE. I really don’t like my name you mentioned in your letter to your soul sister. I HAVE GOTTEN TO THE POINT IN LIFE WHERE I WANT TO MAKE OR CREATE MY OWN ENEMIES OR FIGHT MY OWN BATTLES. @tontolet is my friend and I remains so I have never discussed anything negative with you. You complained to me your pains and I advised. Mentioning me will look like I betrayed my friendship. NO! Am a very LOYAL FRIEND & I don’t like people dragging me into there dramas please. I won’t have made it private but as you mentioned me publicly I choose to also clear it publicly. I have helped people, housed them too, I have never gotten credit or praised but life goes on. Please I am not happy with my name mentioned.” (sic)
Tonto Dikeh had responded to Adaslim’s letter and urged her to send a bill of all she (Tonto Dikeh? took from her. Tonto reminded her ‘benefactor’ that God has blessed her and she can afford anything 10 years after Adaslim did her a favour.
