Former Minister of Aviation and social critic, Femi Fani-Kayode seems to be happily married to former beauty Precious Chikwendu.
Fani-Kayode, who would gladly refer to himself as a “Yoruba man who got a wife from the hills of Ohafia and the valleys of Abriba. The forests of Umuahia and the lush green fields of Manga,” took to Instagram to congratulate his wife, for winning a award as the Most Influential Beauty Queen in Nigeria.
“I congratulate my beautiful wife Precious Chikwendu for winning the Most Influential Beauty Queen in Nigeria Award. You make me proud baby! I love you.???❤❤❤”
Her reply?” Awwwwwwwww, thanks for being the wind beneath my wings. Honey, love you always. ” (sic)
Known to always public profess love for his wife, FFK as he is fondly called, in one of his posts also professed to Precious, “God brought you my way and has given me a new lease of life. What a gift you are.”
Fani-Kayode, who was married twice with daughters, made headlines in 2016 when one of his daughters from ex wife, Yemisi Wada, got married and he declared he would not be present.The daughter gave birth recently but there was no acknowledgement from FFK.
For FFK, the love of his life remains Precious Chikwendu and no other being matters. The couple has a son who is a year old.
Born in 1989, Precious, who is fondly referred to as Snow White is a model, actress and former beauty queen. She represented Nigeria at the Miss United Nations World Beauty pageant in 2014.
She claimed to have gone for the pageant unaided and funded the whole experience by herself without the backing of the government or corporate bodies. The beautiful lady won the beauty contest and became the first Nigerian and African to ever to do so defeating top countries like United States of America, France, Germany and an entire host of others.
Precious is also a former model and professional actress who has featured in popular movies and TV series such as “Thy Will Be Done”, “Love Struck”, “Onye Ozi”, “I Come Lagos”, “Secrets & Scandals”, “The Hustlers” and many more
She describes FFK as a “wonderful package from God” and revealed in an interview that she pampers him with pounded yam and Ogbono soup.
In a video shared earlier in the year, FFK and his wife are in bed and he’s busy writing. Precious sings and he captioned it:
“ My crazy wife.. Dont mind her I was writing my column for next week and i heard that strange singing in my ears ??? love her much.” (sic)
