Music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, is back in the public spotlight after social media commentator and blogger, Tosin Silverdam, released video evidence to support his earlier claims about the singer’s alleged arrest in the United Kingdom.
Back in October 2025, Tosin had alleged that 2Baba got into a heated confrontation with his wife, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, shortly after they arrived in the UK for his tour. According to him, the situation escalated to the point where authorities were called in and “the African Queen crooner was reportedly taken away.”
2Baba, however, denied the claims at the time. He insisted his failure to appear for his scheduled performance was due to a health emergency, not an arrest. In a video later shared online, the singer appeared alongside Natasha and another individual in what looked like a studio as they dismissed the allegations with laughter.
Despite this, Tosin doubled down, insisting his information was accurate. He went on to publish what he described as leaked conversations involving the show’s organisers and other parties.

On Monday, December 1, Tosin Silverdam escalated the matter by sharing a clip he claimed captured the exact moment 2Baba was arrested. He also posted another video allegedly showing the couple arguing at Gatwick Airport. In his narration, he claimed the clash stemmed from Natasha feeling uncomfortable with the attention 2Baba was receiving.
Sharing the videos on Instagram, Tosin captioned them: “Video of Tuface Idibia Being Arrested by the Police in the UK After an Alleged Altercation with His Wife Natasha… and Video of Heated Argument at the Airport… The Video Is Finally Out.”
The newly released footage is reportedly the same clip Tosin Silverdam has been referencing in his ongoing claims about 2Baba’s UK arrest following his alleged altercation with Natasha Osawaru.
