Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, is making headlines once again after hinting at a romantic relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
This revelation comes shortly after his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, with 2Baba expressing his intention to pursue a relationship with Osawaru.
The speculation intensified following 2Baba’s surprise appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during a plenary session on Monday, alongside a video of the two at a Lagos nightclub that surfaced shortly after.
In an Instagram video posted on late Tuesday night, 2Baba addressed the swirling rumors, stating, “To Whom It May Concern. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright.”
He denied that Osawaru played any role in his split with Annie, saying, “Allegedly, I have been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted. Yes, I posted what I posted.”
He further defended Osawaru, saying, “Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker. She is a young brilliant amazing woman and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage.”
He added, “Yes, I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”
Following his announcement, Natasha’s name quickly became a top-trending topic on social media, with reactions pouring in from users and celebrities alike.
