The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has reiterated that he has no interest in partisan politics, insisting that even a billion dollars would not make him abandon his divine calling.

According to a report by Vanguard on Saturday, the cleric made this known while ministering during the impartation service at the church’s annual convocation, Shiloh 2025, held at the Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.

Speaking to thousands of worshippers, Oyedepo urged believers to remain committed to their God-ordained assignments, stressing that true influence and dominion come from operating within one’s calling. He explained that it is only by staying on course that believers can “rule their world” and be enlisted among God’s end-time army.

Recalling his past warnings, the bishop told the congregation, “In 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Didn’t trouble come?” He then made his position on politics clear, stating, “Partisan politics is off my calling.”

Emphasising his resolve, Oyedepo added, “If you give me $1 billion to join politics, I won’t, because it’s off my course.”

The preacher also spoke on what he described as the urgency of the present times, noting that the world is in dire need of divine intervention. Citing scripture, he said, “The world is groaning in darkness, but as embedded in Romans 8:19, the world is waiting for the earnest manifestations of the children of God.”

He further declared that God’s people would soon rise to provide solutions to societal and national challenges, drawing parallels with biblical figures. According to him, “The army of God is about to emerge to proffer solutions to national crises in the order of Joseph and Daniel. It is the day of what eyes have not seen or ears heard.”

Oyedepo’s remarks formed part of a broader exhortation encouraging Christians not to be distracted by worldly ambitions but to remain steadfast in pursuing their God-given purposes. He maintained that, by doing so, believers can positively impact their communities and nations.

Shiloh 2025 began on December 9 and is scheduled to end on December 14, 2025, drawing worshippers from within and outside Nigeria for days of teaching, impartation, and fellowship at the church’s international headquarters.
