Popular On-Air Personality, Tolu Oniru-Demuren, fondly called Toolz, on Saturday celebrated her first birthday as a mother.
The broadcaster marked the occasion of her 37th birthday with an Instagram post.
“Happy Birthday to me!!! First birthday as mummy Chairman ????
I’ve been reflecting and the crazy thing I realised is that I almost have everything I’ve ever prayed for…well except for a billion dollars and @amaralanegraaln ‘s body, but I’m sure baba God is working on that lol.
I’m so incredibly grateful and humbled by how God has blessed me, if I had any doubt before that God answers prayers, this past year completely removed those doubts.
It took me long enough, but I’ve finally realised that the secret to a happy life is a grateful heart. If you constantly focus on what you don’t have you and forget to be grateful for what you have been blessed with you will never be happy.
I’m GRATEFUL, I’m BLESSED and I’m HAPPY. Thank you God!” she wrote.
In June, Toolz had celebrated her son who turned six months old.
Toolz and her husband, Tunde Demuren, welcomed their son in December 2018.
The toddler was delivered in a British hospital.
Narrating her journey to motherhood in an Instagram post in December last year, Toolz said to God: “For this child I have prayed and You heard my cry. For this baby I had faith and You gave new life.”
Recalling the pain of losing her first child, she added: “This time last year, I would often cry myself to sleep thinking about the baby we lost, but now I can’t sleep because I can’t stop staring at the most precious gift God has given me this year.”
