Legendary Nollywood actor and comedian, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, is celebrating his 70th birthday today, February 7, 2025.\
The veteran actor Osuofia, who played a huge role in shaping the childhood of many Nigerians with his hilarious performances, took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to express gratitude for life and good health.
“Hurray, I’m 70 years today,” he wrote, as fans and colleagues flooded social media with congratulatory messages.
Career and Achievements: Owoh has starred in numerous classic films, including Osuofia in London, Stronger Than Pain, and Ikuku, earning him a place among Nollywood’s greatest.
He won the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Stronger Than Pain and also received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 13th AMAA edition.
In 2012, MTN signed him to a multimillion-naira endorsement deal, which has been repeatedly renewed over the years.
