After much denials, the couple decided making it public today.
Seyi Edun, an actress who had been romantically linked with Adeniyi even while he was married to Toyin, had granted interviews and denied any amorous relationship with the actor.
But earlier today, May 9, she decided letting the cat out of the bag.
Seyi, who was close to Toyin Aimakhu when she was still married to Adeniyi, had a movie premiere two weeks ago. She shared Adeniyi’s picture on Instagram and captioned it:
“A huge thanks to my support system, My ejika My everything. Thanks for being the major part of my success story. Thanks for supporting my movement. Aduragbemi May God reward u in million folds. If i start mentioning ur impact I won’t stop typing, all I can say is THANK U. Thanks for the surprises. u really got me. Thanks for being my uber,my bartender, despite ur status, ur humility is rare. Thanks for supporting me financially, spiritually and morally. I pray God give u reason to smile always. An elated Adeniyi replied:
“I saw my phone blinking with notifications and tags I was wondering kilosele.. I didn’t know I’m been celebrated and appreciated by my woman.. someone who knows the value of the Crown over a Wig… Thanks for standing when no one stood and for taking me as I am despite all blackmail and blasphem!!! U are cherished and forever treasured … I love you more.’ (sic)
The two are obviously engaged, and there is the possibility that they are secretly married.
Adeniyi has been wearing a ring on the wedding finger of his left hand and so is Seyi.
To buttress this fact, many of their fans and followers on IG have been congratulating them on the ‘union’ with many calling them husband and wife.
The couple lapped up all compliments without correcting anyone.
Even their godmother/prophetess, Mary Olubori of the Havilah Mountain of Fire Church, calls them ‘a couple.’
The two might decide not to announce their engagement or marriage because the marriage with Toyin Aimakhu has not been properly dissolved in a law court.
