This appeal seems to be coming after many months of dilly-dallying on their divorce issue.
Now tired and frustrated by his estranged wife, Toyin Abraham, the husband has cried out and accused the actress of refusing to sign their divorce papers.
The actor made the accusation in a series of posts on Instagram Story.
A frustrated Adeniyi wrote:
“We were to sign divorce papers on November 1st, you didn’t come. The case was postponed to January 10th, only for your manager, Sam, to call me that you want to discontinue the case in Shagamu and restart in Ibadan. Madam why?
“Till date, I did no interview, except the one on Rubbin Minds, and yet tolerated all the names you called me. Why not let me go after three years? Why are you shifting the case, so we start all over again?”
“No letter from the court about the discontinuation of the case, even your lawyer isn’t aware you are taking such a step. Na manager dey call us.
“I admit to all the names and accusations. Toyin, can you please let me go? The delay tactic is tiring. I see my quietness being taken for granted and is making people assume, I’m the bad egg.”
Toyin and Adeniyi got married on Monday, July 8, 2013, at the Ikoyi Registry, Lagos.
The actress filed for divorce on the grounds of infidelity in August 2015.
Speaking with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in an interview on Channels Television in May 2018, Adeniyi accused Toyin of dating disgraced Seun Egbegbe while they were still married.
Toyin and Egbegbe went public with their affair in February 2016.
Egbegbe is now in prison over fraud and theft charges.
Adeniyi, who plans to marry another actress Seyi Edun, is obviously tired and wants to erase every memory of Toyin in his life.
