So, Iyabo Ojo was actually revealing the truth about her colleagues?
Just two weeks after her post on social media, where she condemned some of her colleagues on certain ills she observed among them, actor Kevin Ikeduba did same. This time, it was a video.
There, he called out some Nollywood stars who don’t help one another but are living fake life on social media.
Meanwhile, comedian and moviemaker AY Makun also agreed with actor Ikeduba.
AY Makun wrote in a post on Instagram on Tuesday where he shared his opinion of the Nigerian movie industry, citing the prevalence of rivalry and jealousy.
“As a growing actor and a movie producer, NOLLYWOOD has exposed me to both the good, the bad and ugly.
“Barely few years in the industry, I have experienced all sorts from the stables of the high and mighty self-entitled ‘stakeholders’, to the very insecured individuals whose only claim to fame is an old testament fact of ‘We started this industry,’” the comedian wrote.
“Welcome to a backstabbing community where some pretend to love you in the open and condemn all your determination and efforts to succeed when you are not there.
“Welcome to an industry where enmity reigns supreme,” AY added.https://www.instagram.com/p/BrPGOwVgCHx/

The 47-year-old advised Nollywood stars to let go of deceit and let the world know who they really are.
Nollywood stars have made a trade of throwing subtle and open shades at themselves recently.
Actress Iyabo Ojo bared her mind on what she described as prevailing gossip, envy, backstabbing and other ills in Nollywood in an Instagram post in November.
The 40-year-old explained that there was so much pretence going on amongst stars who claimed to be friends.
“We never truly support our own,” the actress wrote.
She added that her 20 years in the industry have taught her a number of things and how to act around people.
