Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has recalled how she once dated a popular public figure who did not want their relationship to be public.
During an interview on The Joe Budden Podcast, the single mother recounted her experience with a famous ex, whom many assumed to be Wizkid.
Tiwa said the unnamed ex wanted their relationship hidden while still flirting with other women, something she described as disrespectful.
“It’s a disrespect, I am a public figure and he is as well. He did this thing where he was like, he doesn’t want us to go public, and doesn’t want people to know.”
Although Tiwa did not mention names, her statement has stirred reactions online.
One fan wrote, “If he doesn’t show you in and out, he’s not worth it. Don’t waste your time there.”

The singer also revealed that she froze her eggs to give herself the option of having more children in the future.
Explaining why, she noted that she isn’t getting younger and wants to secure her eggs while they’re still healthy.“I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy”.
Tiwa Savage, who divorced music executive Teebillz in 2018, was romantically linked with Wizkid after their collaborations on songs like Ma Lo’.
