The immediate past Minister of State for Labour, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, is on his way back into the federal cabinet.
Also nominated yesterday for screening and confirmation as minister was Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure.
Mahmoud replaced Dr. Mariam Shetty whose nomination was withdrawn.
No reason was given for dropping Shetty who is also from Kano State.
But a short while afterward she took to her Twitter handle @MaryamShetty to give her reaction.
She wrote: “Just In. I was just informed now at today’s plenary session that President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has withdrawn my ministerial nomination and replaced me with Dr Mairiga Mahmud. I’m grateful and thankful for any decision from you My President!
In his own reaction also on Twitter,Delta State-born Keyamo wrote: “He’s a miracle-working God. He’s a miracle-working God,He’s the Alpha and Omega. He’s a miracle-working God.”
