Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has been listed as one of the performers at the 61st Grammy Awards.
Organisers of the award announced in a statement on their website on Thursday.
The 36-year-old singer also announced his inclusion in a post on Instagram on Thursday night.
“Hands up if you are performing at the Grammys #getthesax Starts at 12:30 PT. Streamed live on grammy.com,” he wrote.
Seun Kuti is the youngest son of the late icon, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
He has been nominated in the Best World Music Award category for the 2019 Grammy Awards for his Black Times album.
He will perform with Malian singer/songwriter, Fatoumata Diawara, at the award’s Premiere Ceremony on February 10, where awards would be given out in more than 70 categories.
