Not a few were surprised on Saturday, November 25, 2023 when Ozioma, widow of Sammie Okposo took to Instagram to remember his demise.
“It has been one year without you. I miss you, I miss us, your jokes, surprises, laughter, hugs and songs,” Ozioma wrote.
Recall the news of the death of popular Nigerian gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, rent the Internet in November 2022 and it sent a shock wave among his family members, Nigerians and fans across the world.
The award-winning ‘Wellu Wellu’ exponent and CEO, Zamar Entertainment, was said to have slumped after suffering a heart attack and was rushed a hospital in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, where he was confirmed dead.
The 51-year-old was buried at a private cemetery in Ikoyi after a Church service on Thursday, December 15.
Sammie and his wife Ozioma were married for 12 years before his death.
