Rita Daniels, the mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has called out her daughter’s estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, accusing him of ordering the arrest of her son.
This comes shortly after Regina took to social media on Monday night to cry out for help, alleging that Nwoko had her siblings detained to force her to return to him and go back to rehab.
In a video shared on Instagram by Regina’s brother, Sweezy, Rita Daniels angrily lashed out at the politician, accusing him of exploiting her daughter’s fame for personal gain.
According to her, Nwoko only married Regina because he wanted to revive his dwindling reputation through her celebrity status. “You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down,” she said.

The veteran actress further alleged that Regina had financially supported Nwoko’s political ambition, contributing $50,000 to his senatorial campaign. She added that their family had long been protecting his image.
“My daughter supported your senatorial election with $10k. We are covering you up and making you feel like an Odogwu, you’re mad,” she fumed.
Rita’s outburst comes amid growing tension between the actress and her estranged husband, with fans expressing concern over the family’s ongoing public dispute.
