Former queen of the Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Dami, has sparked controversy by calling out popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, over alleged mistreatment and baseless accusations.
In a viral social media post, Queen Dami expressed frustration at being left to fend for herself while Portable’s wife enjoys the luxuries of his cars.
She revealed that she often moves around on commercial motorcycles (“okada”), contrasting her struggles with the lifestyle afforded to Portable’s spouse.
“I move around with ‘okada’ while his wife drives his cars. I didn’t complain about that,” she stated, venting her grievances publicly.
The former queen also addressed a serious allegation her husband reportedly made against her.
According to her, the singer accused her of causing the death of her late husband, the Alaafin of Oyo, with whom she shares a son.
“He said I killed the late Alaafin of Oyo, my spouse who I had a child for. How could I have killed the father of my son?” She questioned, dismissing the claim as absurd and unfounded.
Her revelations have stirred reactions on social media, with fans and observers debating the drama between the former queen and the controversial singer. Portable, known for his flamboyant and unfiltered personality, is yet to respond to the accusations.
This unfolding saga highlights the challenges of public figures navigating their private lives amidst public scrutiny, leaving fans eager to hear Portable’s side of the story.
