For Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux, they set Valentine’s Day rolling a week ago. In fact they set the year rolling with their love movie.
On February 7, 2025, Priscy, a model and daughter of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, tied the knot in the Tanzania Islamic culture with hip hop artiste, Juma Jux.
They were all over the Internet and splashed videos and photos of the beautiful Tanzanian wedding.
If anyone thought that was the end, then that must have been a joke.
By Wednesday when everyone thought that the couple was having a honeymoon, there was another family/friend get-together and again, Juma proposed. According to him, he had to propose again before family and friends who meant a lot in their lives.
Then by Thursday, there was a civil wedding.in Tanzania.
According to Jux, he had to do a proposal on Wednesday night with a diamond ring.
He said, “Baby I’m proposing to you a second time, but this time in front of your family and dearest friends and with a ring twice the size. I love you with everything in me and I can’t wait to spend forever with you my love.”
The diamond ring weights 5.2 karats and it’s said to cost $50,000!
Meanwhile, friends and family around the couple became emotional and started sharing all they knew about the couple.
But what does Priscy feel about her man? The 23-year old said, “I’ve never seen any man like him.”
At this point, she started gushing about her man and went philosophical about love and marriage. Priscy, who was raised by a single mum, believed she would have it right in marriage.
Not only that, she reinstated the fact that if some marriages worked, then hers and Juma’s would.
She said, “I am young and there are lots of distractions. He (Juma) tells me to go with the flow. He (Juma) is the best, he is the greatest and I have never seen any man like him. The thing about me and my husband is not about social media. When we are together, I am so at peace, I am so relaxed. We are like best friends and support each other in every way. I am so grateful to God for finding this person. There are lots of scary things about marriage but I always tell him that we are on this journey together. We are going on this journey forever. This is a journey of a lifetime. People will look at us and say Wow! If some people can achieve it, I can achieve it too. My story will be different and I know this because God has allowed it. No man can dissolve it.”
