For Pastor Amos Fenwa, it’s the dawn of a new day as he remarried Lady Fela on July 17, 2025 in Lagos amidst cheers from family, church members and friends. It was two years after losing his first wife and it was indeed an emotional moment on Sunday July 20, 2025 when he turned up for thanksgiving with the new bride who humbly thanked all for accepting her

It was all joy and rejoicing on Sunday when the General Overseer of the Holy Ghost Christian Centre (HCCNJ), Pastor Amos Fenwa presented his new wife to his congregation. It was thanksgiving for their wedding which held three days before.

As they climbed the altar, the congregation shouted and cheered, When the noise subsided, the elated man of God explained how he met his wife and how long it took him to consider her for re-marriage.

He said, “When the news of my wedding went viral some days ago, a lot of people online were saying, ‘why should he marry in just two years after his wife died?’ They don’t know what they are talking about. I know of  a friend whose wife died and he married eight months after. He is also a pastor. It doesn’t matter when you marry. The Bible says till death do us part. I thank God for the beautiful woman He has blessed me with.”

The wedding ceremony between Pastor Fenwa and Fela held on Thursday July 17, 2025.

The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, founder of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC). It was both customarily and church conducted.

Recall that Pastor Fenwa  remarried Lady Fela after the loss of his first wife, Esther Oluyemisi in 2023. They were married for 33 years before her death at 57.

Meanwhile, as the service commenced, the new bride, Lady Fela Fenwa was beckoned to talk and she respectfully took the microphone and said, “Praise the Lord. It’s an honour and delight to be here today. I am grateful for the man of God, his life and the anointing on him. I thank God for the opportunity to be his wife, to be his support system and to be a member of HCC worldwide. I am a member and one of you even if you call me First Lady. I have been here twice and I know God is here. I am very happy to be part of this church. Thank you for accepting me. Thank you for welcoming me. Thank you for the love that is here. I also thank my husband for the love shown me. For accepting me, for everything you have done. You are my love, you are my father. You are my world and you are my everything.”

Then she knelt and said to her husband, “Thank you so much daddy. I promise to be your support system, I promise to be a sister and a friend to everybody. Thank you church for accepting me. I appreciate you all.”

Born on August 16, 1972 in Ijebu Ode, Lady Fela Fenwa’s parents are  Otunba O.A Osibogun (late) and Chief Mrs Bisi Osibogun.

Before her marriage to Pastor Fenwa, she was a single mum of one, Brunelle. Fela is based in Europe and works in the civil service of Ireland.
