Omowunmi Aloba, widow of late singer Mohbad, has shared a heartfelt message to celebrate her son Liam on his birthday, expressing deep love and devotion.
In the emotional post, she described the child as the centre of her life and reaffirmed her willingness to do anything to ensure his happiness and safety.
“Happy birthday to my heartbeat, you mean the world to me Eyinimofeoluwa and I’m so proud to be your parent. I’d walk through fire, cross oceans and do absolutely anything to make sure you are safe and happy.
“I will always be your biggest cheerleader and your safest harbour. I live for your smile and I would do anything to protect you. Happy birthday to the best son I could ever ask for. Love you with all my heart my Lily,” she wrote.
Her tribute comes at a time when legal proceedings surrounding Liam’s paternity are still ongoing. A Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, had ordered a DNA test to determine whether the child is biologically related to the late singer.
The directive followed an application by Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, who is seeking clarity on the matter.

Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Aloba, died in September 2023, a development that sparked nationwide reactions and ongoing disputes over his estate and family affairs.
Since then, Liam, who was born just months before his father’s death, has remained at the centre of public and legal attention, with concerns also raised about the laboratories handling the DNA process.
