Nollywood has lost a talented martial arts actor, Natty Bruce Idigbogu, who passed away at the age of 57. This tragic news was shared on Facebook by journalist and educator Dr. Shaibu Husseini.
Natty Bruce was well-known for his martial arts skills and had directed and coordinated martial arts sequences in numerous Nollywood movies. He also played a significant role in training many individuals through his “YOUTH OUT OF PENURY” program under his film production company, Nollyactions Entertainment.
Dr. Shaibu received the news of Natty Bruce’s passing from reliable sources, though the exact cause of his death remains unknown. In his Facebook post, he wrote, “I have just been reliably informed that light has dimmed on foremost Nollywood’s ‘martial arts’ actor, Natty Bruce. The green belter was passionate about integrating Martial Arts into Nollywood movies. He also tried to produce a full-length Martial Art movie… Good night Oga Natty…… bye bye Sir.”
Natty Bruce’s contributions to Nollywood and martial arts will be remembered, and his passing is a significant loss to the Nigerian film industry.
