Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, professionally known as Oladips, has sadly passed away at the age of 28. The news was confirmed by the singer’s management on November 15th, 2023, revealing that Oladips died on November 14th, 2023, at 10:14 PM.
Earlier reports had indicated that Oladips was urgently taken to the hospital during the late hours of November 14th as he fought for his life. A video surfaced online where the rapper was heard urgently requesting his friend, known on Instagram as OnlyOneLifetime, to take him to the hospital.
Before being rushed to the hospital, Oladips took to his Instagram story to post a message, urging his friend who had left to get him medication to return home.
In the shared video, Oladips could be heard pleading with his friend to take him to the hospital. While being transported to the hospital, his friends around him were heard shouting his name as he reportedly lost consciousness on the way.
Confirming his passing, Oladips’ management expressed deep sorrow and shock, revealing that the rapper had been grappling with personal struggles for over two years. The family requested privacy during this difficult time, and details about funeral services will be announced once concluded. The management concluded with a prayer for fortitude to bear the great loss.
