The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has expressed condolences to a Nigerian family following the tragic deaths of a woman and her two children in a road accident in Texas, United States.
NiDCOM Chairman Abike Dabiri-Erewa extended sympathy in a statement issued by the commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit on Friday.
The victims, US-based Nigerian woman Nihinlolawa Agboro and her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, lost their lives when a truck collided with their sport utility vehicle on a highway in Fort Bend County on Sunday morning.
According to local reports, the crash occurred shortly before 9:30 am between Harlem Road and Pitts Road. Authorities said the truck lost control, crossed the median, and struck the oncoming SUV carrying five occupants.
Commenting on the tragedy, Dabiri-Erewa said, “Such a sudden loss is heartbreaking for any family, especially during what should have been an ordinary journey.”

“She expressed her deepest sympathy to the family, praying for the repose of the deceased and comfort for those left behind. She also wished a speedy recovery to anyone injured in the accident,” the statement added.
The NiDCOM chairman further urged road users to exercise caution, emphasizing her continued support for the Nigerian community in Texas and across the United States affected by the incident.
