Mohbad: In a recent viral video, Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian rapper, Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba), has raised concerns and discussions about the need for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the artist’s 6-month-old son, Liam.
Mr. Aloba emphasized the national significance of conducting a DNA test to accurately establish Liam’s paternity. While there were rumors circulating about a test being conducted, he expressed his desire to be consulted and have a representative present during the test.
Speaking in his native Yoruba language, Mr. Aloba stated, “Regarding the DNA test, it’s a must they do it. Nigerians and people worldwide are demanding it. We are hearing rumors that they did it, but no matter how they want to do it, I’m Mohbad’s father, so I’ll give consent on the DNA test or send anyone who can represent me during the test if I’m not there to know how they’ll do it. And even when they want to do it, it should be done in two different places so we can be very sure of the results.”
He further emphasized, “So, the DNA is very necessary” and shared his affection for the child, expressing hope that Liam is indeed Mohbad’s son. The DNA test, according to Mr. Aloba, is essential for clarity regarding Liam’s parentage.
It’s worth noting that Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12, 2023. His untimely demise has been surrounded by conflicting reports about the circumstances leading to his death, with some suggesting that he passed away after being injected by a nurse.
Furthermore, there have been allegations and accusations directed at individuals within the Marlian record label, including Naira Marley, as they were implicated in bullying Mohbad.
The late Mohbad had reportedly filed a petition with the police department to notify them of threats to his life, which he attributed to Sam Larry, Naira Marley, and others.
This followed an incident where Sam Larry was captured on camera bullying Mohbad during a video shoot, with Zlatan coming to Mohbad’s rescue. These events have contributed to the ongoing discussions and investigations surrounding the rapper’s tragic passing.
