From past governors to military administrators and former First Ladies, all roads led to the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, to mark the 50th birthday of the state of aquatic splendor.
It was the 50th anniversary ball of Lagos @ 50 and the Executive Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, made sure all that had a story to tell in the 50 years of being in existence, were present.
It was indeed a success and all guests were held in awe.
With much to eat and drink, the anniversary ball ended the almost 30-day of festivities in the state.

Worthy of note were the Eyo Festival, the Lagos Music concert, the conference and many activities that marked the 50th anniversary of the state.
