Embattled husband of star actress Mercy Aigbe, Olanrewaju Gentry (Larry Gentry) who was released from Kirikiri Prisons on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, after perfecting his bail conditions, will today(Thursday, May 18, 2017) leave the shores of Nigeria for pilgrimage in Jerusalem.
In a chat with Encomium, the Osun-born hotelier said, “I can’t talk to you now. I am preparing for my trip to Jerusalem. By tomorrow, Thursday, May 18, 2017, I will be travelling to Jerusalem. So, when I come back, I will tell you everything you want to know about the issue.”
All efforts to hear further comments from him proved abortive as all the calls put across to his mobile phone didn’t go through again.
Gentry was remanded in Kirikiri Prisons following the assault he reportedly committed on his wife, Mercy Aigbe days back.
The seven-year-old marriage to the pretty thespian has hit the rock with the case still in court, there is no hope for reconciliation.
