Mother’s Day of May 13 was a huge celebration fr Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale, and her son hip hop crooner, Mayorkun.
The two met again after two years of separation as a result of their schedules.
Mayorkun, whose real name is Mayowa Adewale, is one of the A-list artistes on Davido’s DMW recording label. Also, he is famous for his hit tracks, “Eleko” and “Mama”.
Mayorkun, who recently clinched the “Next Rated’ award at the last Headies, was full of excitement at seeing his mum and younger sister after two years.
They met in Washington DC where the artiste had a successful show some weeks ago.
He had met with his dad, Sunday Adewale, also a Nollywood actor and producer some weeks ago before seeing his mum.
An excited Mayorkun took to Instagram and wrote:
“Not seen her in 2 years too.
Missed her so much!
She came out for my show in DC.
Happy mother’s day ?”
Then his mum, Toyin, also shared photos of their meeting on Instagram and captioned:
“He came ?
We eventually met??
And we were so excited to see each other again ?????
