For what some thought was a skit, it turned out to be a clash between two popular actors—Laide Bakare and Eniola Badmus
Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has caused a stir on social media after a video showed her confronting her colleague, Eniola Badmus, at a movie premiere.
Both actresses attended the premiere of the Eniola Ajao movie titled “Owambe Thieves”, which took place on Sunday, at Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
In the video which went viral on Monday, the two women were seen arguing loudly.
Bakare asked Eniola Badmus if she was mentally okay, which made Eniola give her a sharp look before walking away.
At the same time, a man wearing a suit, believed to be Eniola’s bodyguard, tried to step in and stop the fight.
But Bakare stood her ground and challenged him.
After the altercation, Bakare took to Instagram on Monday, to post private messages between her and Eniola.
In the conversation, Eniola criticised Laide for sharing an unflattering photo of her, describing the act as “animalistic behaviour.”
In her caption, Laide referred to Eniola as an ingrate, claiming she was the one who gave Eniola her first major role at a time when no one else was willing to cast her because of her weight.
