This is not the best of times for newly divorced Korra Obidi.
The Nigerian dancer who is based in the United States of America revealed on Friday that her citizenship application has been considered abandoned.
This, she disclosed during a recent Facebook live session with her followers.
Reading a letter from the Department of Homeland Security, Korra could not hide her shock that her application was abandoned.
“Oh my God, Jesus Christ!” Korra exclaimed as she read the letter.
“I submitted a form for naturalization and US has considered my application abandoned,” Korra Obidi said with a sad expression on her face.
Meanwhile, the mum of two officially announced her divorce from her American husband, Justin Dean in a Facebook post on November 19, where she stated that she was open to moving on in peace with her ex, for the sake of the children.
The estranged couple made headlines in March when Justin announced they are getting a divorce one week after they welcomed their second child.
